Marketing Coordinator


  • Coordinate marketing, communication and strategic plans
  • Ensure that e-blasts and website information is up-to-date
  • Create marketing campaigns and strategies for various festival shows
  • Coordinate advertising campaigns (print and digital)
  • Monitor, review and report marketing activity and results
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager
  • Create strategies to sell JFL programming
  • Ensures purchase orders are created, entered and signed
  • Coordinate deliverables with graphics department
  • Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Analyse customers, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Maintain effective working team relationships with all departments


  • Experience in marketing, PR and/or event management
  • University degree in marketing or current student
  • Organization and planning skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and copywriting skills
  • Bilingualism is a strong asset
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of the Montreal show business market
  • Adaptability, judgment, decision-making and flexibility
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a hectic environment
  • Prepared to work long hours, as needed
  • Overall love of comedy!
