Social Media Coordinator


  • Coordinate and execute marketing social media campaigns for JFL, OFF-JFL and JFL42
  • Monitor, respond and report JFL social media activity and results
  • Engage and respond to customer issues across social media platforms
  • Optimize content for each platform
  • Monitor trends and latest social media tools
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and programming team
  • Create strategies to sell JFL programming
  • Ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Analyse customers, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Maintain effective working team relationships with all departments


  • Strong understanding of social media (facebook, twitter, Instagram, snapchat etc…)
  • Strong knowledge of comedians
  • Experience in marketing, PR and/or event management
  • University degree in marketing or current student
  • Organization and planning skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication and copywriting skills
  • Bilingualism is a strong asset
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of the Montreal show business market
  • Adaptability, judgment, decision-making and flexibility
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a hectic environment
  • Prepared to work long hours, as needed
  • Ability to travel to Toronto if needed
  • Overall love of comedy!
