Pete Zedlacher’s one-of-a-kind name matches his one-of-a-kind background. Born and bred in Wawa, Ontario, Pete moved to New York city after high-school to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. There he developed strong acting skills which he honed performing at the infamous William Redfield Theater. These skills entrenched, Pete found his way back to Canada and entrenched himself in the stand-up scene in Toronto. His fearless humour, acting skills and relentless work ethic quickly shot him through the ranks, resulting in his nomination for top male stand-up at the Canadian Comedy Awards in 2005! He has now emerged as the winner of The Canadian Comedy Award!

In 2001 Pete appeared in his own hour long comedy stand up “Comedy Now” special. A recent re-run of his “Comedy Now” episode was the highest rated episode in the series’ history. His other television appearances include “Open Mic with Mike Bullard”, TSN’s “Off The Record”, co-hosting Much Music’s “LOUD”, CBC’s “The Sean Cullen Show” and The Comedy Network’s “Puppets Who Kill”. Pete has also performed at Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival. In 2002, he went to Afghanistan to entertain the Canadian troops.

This is one comic who “kills” every time he performs! He is one of the best in the business and unequivocally the best comic named Zedlacher that you will ever see.
