Performing in Calgary most Monday Nights at Dickens Pub for Comedy Monday Night.

Daryl Makk, a veteran in stand-up comedy for over twelve years, was born and raised on the isolated Canadian prairies. He won the 1993 "Classic Laff Off" in Winnipeg, Mantioba, and hasn't looked back since. He is a favourite at comedy clubs across Canada and has also toured England, Australia and the United States. He played  "Simon", the nasty judge, on Yuk Yuks' "Comedy Idol" contest to rave reviews. In 2005, he had an extended tour in Australia and performed in sold out shows at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Daryl's "Comedy now" special was selected to kick off season eight of the award winning show . He can be seen on the Comedy Network's "Comedy Stampede", "Comedy at Club 54", "Comedy Kitchen" and "Canadian Dreams", a mini-series made for German television. He can also be heard on CBC Radio's "Madly Off In All Directions".

Described by CBC radio as "A friendly redneck with knowledge and he's not afraid to use it", he has been a hit to audiences worldwide, enjoying laughs as he barbecues up social sacred cows. His act is always an hilarious exercise of trying to understand the confusion and mess we have made. He is the standup comic that will voice the silent majority in your head!
