Andrew Grose

Andrew Grose is a Canadian comedy veteran with some of the most impressive credentials in the industry. In addition to over 13 years of live performances in comedy clubs and festivals he has made his mark on national television in Canada. Recent credits include his own sitcom on The Comedy Network, "The Comedy Stampede Special" on The Comedy
Network, a one hour Comedy Now Uncensored Special on The Comedy Network, a half-hour Comedy Now special on C.T.V., a half-hour Comics! special on C.B.C., two Just For Laughs Television Galas and appearances on CTV's The Vicki Gabereau Show, Open Mike With Mike Bullard, 3 episodes of Comedy At Club 54 and three Madly Off In All Directions.

In the fall of 1999, Andrew joined the writing staff of CTV's "Double Exposure" earning himself a nomination for a Canadian Comedy Award and a Gemini for outstanding television writing. In March of 2000 and 2003, Andrew took part in the Just For Laughs Canadian Comedy Tour as well as The Just For Laughs Road Show joining some of the best comedians in the world on tour. Andrew returned to Just For Laughs in the summer of 2000 and 2003 to once again host "Laughrodesiacs: The Relationship show" as well as performing on the "Big City Comics", "Bubbling With Laughter", "Comedy Night in Canada" and "Go West" stages. In 2003 Andrew entertained our Canadian military overseas in Afghanistan and The United Arab Emirates In 2004 Andrew appeared at The Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy festivals and in 2005 Andrew appeared at Moncton’s Hubcap Comedy Festival and taped his third “Madly Off In All Directions” for C.B.C. Radio in Charlottetown, PEI.

Andrew played "Turdmore Hacking" in the television series "Point Blank" in addition to serving as one of the show's writers. In May 2002 Andrew won a Leo Award for his outstanding writing on that show.

Andrew is the founder and head organizer of the "Laughing For Cancer" benefit which has raised $192,000 for the Alberta Cancer Foundation since 2002.

Originally from Charlottetown, P.E.I. Andrew makes his home in Edmonton, Alberta and is considered one of the top comedians in the country.
