Jebb Fink
Jebb Fink, the American in Canada, was born in Los Angeles, California. He became an American living in Canada in 1988. He never really was at home in the United States. The lower taxes, the huge pay for entertainers and the chance to be on the cover of People Magazine was too much pressure. The fact that Jebb had fallen in love and married a Canadian that refuses to move to the States was just a coincidence.
He has appeared on CBC's "Comics!", Comedy Network's "Comedy Now!" as well as being the co-creator and inspiration for the Gemini award winning hit "An American in Canada". Jebb has also hosted CBC/Just for Laughs "All Access Pass" and has been involved with the Just For Laughs festival for several years as performer and writer. He has also performed and hosted the Winnipeg Comedy Festival's "Sleeping with the Elephant" on CNC, "The Prairie Crop Show" and "Modern Romance Show". Jebb has also written for Tim Allen, William Shatner, Eric Idle, Kevin James, Howie Mandel, Louis Anderson, and Rob Lowe. Jebb was the feature performer on the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show in 1999 and can also be seen daily in Calgary as the co-host of "The Big Breakfast" for A-Channel.
