With a love for Public Speaking and Sketch Comedy, Shelley started her career by enrolling herself into Toronto's Second City Improv Program, where she graduated and then went on to do Stand-up Comedy. Shelley quickly became one of the hottest Comics in Canada, with Now Magazine naming her "Best New Discovery" 2004 and also being noted the "Most Requested Comic" by The House of Comedy. Shelley continued to expand her techniques by continuing to study such other areas as Bouffon Clowning, Movement and more, she began to do Improv Workshops in her Community and local Highschool. It wasn't long before Corporate gigs started coming her way. Shelley has starred in "To Ridley With Love" , Ridley' College's own Alumnni Celebration and "The Young President's Association" 2006 Gala Event
Shelley recently performed her One Women Show "Phoney" at the Toronto Fringe Festival where she received a Recommendatioin by the Toronto Star calling her performace "One of the most side splitting costume changes to ever grace a stage"
