Jeremy hits western Canada this spring after a killer sold-out run out east which left audiences begging for more. In addition to earning nightly standing ovations on the eastern leg of his tour, Hotz has performed for two packed houses at Toronto’s Wintergarden Theatre and sold out three nights at the NAC in Ottawa. Jeremy has also whined his way into six Just For Laughs Festivals; headlined the Just For Laughs Canadian Tour in 2005 and was recently voted the 7th top performance on the CBC Just For Laughs 25th Anniversary Special. Jeremy has brought a dark cloud to some of television’s hottest late night shows including The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was recently seen in Comedy Central's The Jeremy Hotz Special and MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour. Known for his flair for the dramatic, the talented actor has starred in features such as: Speed 2 (starring Sandra Bullock and that guy who stole Julia Roberts away from Keifer Sutherland) and My Favorite Martian (with Liz Hurley). Jeremy has also been nominated for two Gemini awards including: "Best Writing in Comedy or Variety Show or Series" for his special, Whatever Happened to Jeremy Hotz? and his performance in CBC’s CANA-DUH. He also took home a Gemini for his work on the celebrated series Newsroom on the CBC and PBS in America which he claims made him “kinda” happy. Don’t waste another minute being happy.
