Congratulations to Peter Anthony for being nominated for the Canadian Comedy Awards 2008 in the category of Stand-Up Newcomer!

In 2001, Peter Anthony dropped out of his MBA studies to pursue a career in comedy.  It was the best business decision he ever made.  In the short time since his life changed course, Peter has developed into a successful club, college, and corporate comedian, not to mention a talented comedy writer.  He has performed throughout Canada, the US, and in the UK, was named a finalist in Yuk Yuk's Search for Canada's Funniest New Comic, has performed at the Halifax Comedy Festival, Calgary Comedy Festival, Seattle International Comedy Competition, Canadian Comedy Awards and Festival, and has appeared on the Comedy Network and CBC.  Peter lives and works in Toronto, though he is admittedly a "small town boy" from Pictou, Nova Scotia.
