Giulia Rozzi
Giulia Rozzi was born and raised in Boston, MA by a
loud, silly, and loveable Italian immigrant family
that taught her to speak up and laugh often. Giulias
comedy is animated, blunt, and personal. Her
noticeable comfort on stage and her ability to be both
vulnerable and confident make Giulia such a likeable
storyteller.
After graduating from Ithaca College with a dual
degree in Sociology & Theatre, Giulia moved to Los
Angeles and worked as a regular comic at the Hollywood
Comedy Store. While working in LA, Giulia was featured
as a sketch performer on The Jimmy Kimmel Show and
performed and studied at Improv Olympic West where her
first solo show "Stupid Foreigners" debuted.
In 2004 Giulia relocated to New York City where she
teamed up with her dear friend Margot Leitman, for a
three-month run of their show "Name-Droppers" at the
Upright Citizens Brigade theatre. Currently the duo is
hosting their newest show " Stripped Stories" every
month at Mo Pitkins.
Giulia was recently featured in BUST and Glamour
Magazine and can be seen hosting on Best Night Ever on
VH1.com. This summer Giulia will debut her second solo
"Save the Date" taking a comedic jab at brides,
romance and marriage. Giulia also co-produces the
east-coast series of the hit national show, Mortified
and was featured in book version of Mortified
published by Simon Spotlight, of which she is also a
co-editor. As a writer, Giulia has contributed to
Glamour, Playgirl Magazine and maintains the
increasingly popular humor site deardouchebag.com.
Using her funny powers for good, Giulia also speaks at
colleges and schools about food and body issues.
