Tracey MacDonald, a standup comedian from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, moved to Hollywood after winning CBS's New Star Search and the Star Search Grand Championship. Since winning Star Search she has written a pilot sitcom based on her experiences and life in Los Angeles, "Stayin In".
Tracey is a regular at the Hollywood Improv, the Ice House and the Comedy and Magic Club where Jay Leno plays every Sunday. She has toured all across Canada with Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club. She also headlined in the 2004 New Year Eve performance at Massey Hall in Toronto. She has also had television appearances including on “Star TV”, “Comedy Now”, “Last Comics Standing” and “The Halifax Comedy Festival”. She has also performed on numerous radio shows including CBC’s “Madly Off in All Directions”. In 2000, she was placed second at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Her other festival appearances include The Las Vegas Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and The Rock City Women’s Festival.
