Born in Montreal and raised in Santa Cruz California, Mike Paterson is one of Montreal's most loved comedians.  A five-time Just For Laughs veteran he currently stars as Mr. Gross on CBC's hot new kid's show "Surprise, It's Edible Incredible".  In his spare time, Mike plays back-up vocals and keyboards in Never Surrender, the greatest lip-sync band in the world.  

A staple on the comedy scene across Canada, Mike also continues to pursue his acting career. After graduating from the professional Theatre Program at Dawson College in Montreal, Mike began writing and producing his own theatre productions in Montreal and Toronto.
His small screen credits include a number of Canadian television shows, including YTV's 15  Love, Seriously Weird, Galidor, and Fries With That?.

Recently, Mike landed roles in a number of feature films that shot in Montreal, including George Clooney's Confessions of a Dangeruos Mind, Swindle, starring Tom Sizemore and Sheryln Fenn. Additionally, Mike also appeared in Abandon, directed by Academy Award Winner Stephen Gaghan (Traffic, Syriana).  Mike also appears in numerous television and radio commercials.

Mike is also a member of the musidy group The Dan D. Lyons who are working putting the finishing touches on their debut album, "Syrupy Kisses".
