http://www.justforlaughs.com/comedians/show/2250-paul-ash <p>Paul Ash is that special kind of person who sees the best in everyone, except himself.&nbsp; His self loathing comedy is peppered with rural charm and big city cynicism.&nbsp; This "<em>muppet king of comedy</em>" has been described as the "<em>encyclopaedia of funny</em>" and has an over ten year relationship with the <strong>Festival Just For Laughs</strong>, the world's largest stand-up comedy fest.&nbsp;</p> <p>Originally from Nova Scotia, Ash moved to Toronto to pursue comedy, eventually settling in Montreal.&nbsp; After several years in Montreal he moved back to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and was instrumental creating the burgeoning comedy scene there, described during his tenure as "<em>the comedy equivalent to Seattle's music scene in the early &lsquo;90s</em>".
