JocondeThe fabulous Just For Laughs Photoshop Contest has finally come to an end, we have received several excellent submissions and had to seek advice from the wisdom of Deep Thought to choose a winner. We are pleased to annonce that the winner of the this first round is Mylène from Charny, Québec with her flabberghasting rendition of the Monalisa. We would like to thank all participants for their great work and urge you to take part in the next round.

We are pleased to open the JustForLaughs.com amazingMug photo-altering contest! Up for grabs: our admiration, 15 minutes of Internet fame, a virtual hug from our team, the autograph of a French Canadian semi-celebrity, a cool coffee mug with your image on it and a mystery prize!

The photo to be altered is shown below: (Right- click here and choose "Save link as" or "Save target as" to save the image on your computer.)

  • Use any software to edit the image. The final image must be based on the initial image.
  • Offensive images will not be considered for the contest, however, we reserve the right to keep them for personnal use.
  • You may participate as many times as you wish, every image will count as one entry.
  • The deadline is January 14th 2008 at midnight, Greenwich time.
  • All submissions should be sent directly to the boss: theboss@justforlaughs.com.
  • Each submission must include the participant's email address, name (or nickname), country and city of residence. Email addresses will only be used to contact winners and will not be disclosed to third parties or shown to the public. However, names, countries and cities of residence will be featured on the Hall of fame page.
  • The winners will be selected by the editing team, whining is encouraged and should be done on the message board.
  • Prizes will be delivered wherever the applicant resides by mail.
We certainly hope the response will be great so we can run this kind of event on a regular basis. If you would like a picture of yourself to be used as a base image for future photo-altering challenges, send us your pictures by email to theboss@justforlaughs.com, please send only images that are not protected by any copyrights.
