| 10. FedEx - Burt Reynolds (2005) |
| Despite what this ad claims, it takes only one thing to make a great Super Bowl ad: Burt Reynolds (Steven Seagal or Chuck Norris would also have made the cut). Just watch, this ad is hilarious! |
|
| |
| 9. Bud.tv - Swear Jar (2007) |
| One of the most daring ****ing ads on our list. There's somewhere between 15 and 20 mother ***ing swears in this ad - at some point it gets difficult to count (FYI I didn't count "poop"). And if any ****ing ****als ****ers are ****ing offended.... euh... please send your ****ing complaints at theboss@justforlaughs.com |

| 8. Monster.com - When I grow up (1999) |
| "I want to have a brown nose!' Sounds cute, yet disturbing, when coming out of a little girl's mouth. Unlike a lot of ads we've seen so far, this one is not only funny, it makes you think and is actually very close to the service being sold! |
|
| |
| 7. Electronic Data Systems - Herding Cats (2000) |
| That's right Herding Cats!! If you're like me and have never seen a Cat Ranch or heard of Catboys (or as they call it: Cat Herders) you have to see this. Very clever concept and perfectly produced - an instant classic! |
|
| |
| 6. Snickers - Kiss (2007) |
| Two mechanics kissing - what better way to sell your chocolate bar! And if you ever wondered what's the manliest thing one can do, those two mechanics found the answer! |
|
| |
| 5. McDonald's Showdown - Jordan VS Bird (1993) |
| Two legendary basketball players (and half a baseball player) fight it to the bitter end for some McDonald's. With their salaries it would have been more credible if they fought over caviar in a French restaurant... Then again, maybe not... |
|
| |
| 4. Budweiser - Frogs (1995) |
| So one frog says "Bud", the second "Wei" and the third goes "Ser". Why is it so funny? I have no idea and that's probably what made this ad a classic. |
|
| |
| 3. E*trade - Monkey (2002) |
| Although the ad claims: "We just wasted 2 million dollars!". Money isn't *wasted* when you use it to show this adorable cheeky monkey tap-dancing on a bucket. |
|
| |
| 2. GoDaddy.Com - Wardrobe Malfunction (2005) |
| The Super Bowl is now known for TWO wardrobe malfunctions. GoDaddy's take on Janet Jackson's incident angered NFL officials enough to call FOX and have the second of two scheduled ads pulled off the air. GoDaddy couldn't have planned it better! Seriously, they couldn't - how can they plan anything whatsoever with the marketing department they have. (If you don't understand this, check out video at spot 36) |

| 1. Apple - 1984 (1984) |
| The winner and still the world champion of all time, at least, according to us: Apple's Orwellian 1984 ad! Thanks to Macintosh, 1984 wasn't like 1984. This is the ancestor of the "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC ads" except this time the Mac is a mysterious heroine dressed in a hooter's-like outfit destroying the evil Big-Brother PC with a sledgehammer - or at least the representation of him on a giant screen. If any wealthy director out there cares to turn this ad into a movie, I would certainly appreciate it. |
