In 2005 Jim wowed audiences at The Montreal 'Just for Laughs'
Festival where he performed in the highly acclaimed 'Nasty
Show' and garnered one of the biggest press articles at the
festival and was asked to return back in 2007 with his solo show
‘THE SECOND COMING’ which sold out EVERY night and had
ticket touts selling his tickets at 3 times face value.

In 2006 Jim performed at the Edinburgh Festival with his first solo show in two years which not only
received seven 4 star reviews and unprecedented press coverage, it sold out the whole run
and managed to wind up Christian Voice (a nasty Christian group) in the process.

This year (2007) Jim turned 30 and its not been an easy year so far. He has narrowly avoided
bombs in Iraq (where he was performing), been punched in the face at The Comedy Store in
Manchester (with the video clip being seen by over 4.5 million people over the Internet) and
split up with his long term girlfriend, if that’s not enough he also had a cancerous tumor removed
from his penis. On the upside at the Edinburgh Festival during August Jim’s (slightly biographical)
solo show ‘30’ sold phenomenally with the venue forced to increase capacity to cope well with
the overwhelming demand for tickets.

he abducted from the audience played drums, but no sign of Christian Voice?

Off the back of two very successful Montreal and Edinburgh shows Jim has managed to secure
himself a place on the US circuit starting this October and will be touring San Francisco, Kansas
City, Arlington, Chicago, Philadelphia and also opening for Dennis Leary at the 2800 capacity
Beacon Theatre during the New York Comedy Festival.
