The roster of hosts for the Videotron Galas presented by Air Canada is finally complete … drum roll, please:

Canadian comedian, entertainer and YouTube sensation Lilly Singh (aka IISuperwomanII) comes to Montreal to host The Lilly Singh Gala on Sunday, July 30, 7:00 PM at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.


Gala line-ups are rolling out with the who’s who of comedy, including:


The David Spade Gala –Jeff Ross, The Lucas Bros, Katherine Ryan, K. Trevor Wilson, Godfrey, Arj Barker and Tim Meadows will join host David Spade on Wednesday, July 26 at 7:00 PM, PDA.


The Colin Jost & Michael Che Gala – Lil Rel Howery, Sarah Millican, Ivan Decker, Phil Hanley, Steve Byrne and Jim Norton will join the co-hosts on Wednesday, July 26 at 9:45 PM, PDA.


The Rick Mercer Gala – Arthur Simeon, David Baddiel, Carl Barron, W. Kamau Bell and Jessica Kirson will join host, Rick Mercer on Thursday, July 27 at 7:00 PM, PDA.


The Howie Mandel All-Star Comedy Gala – Special guest Cedric The Entertainer, along with Ron Funches, Cristela Alonzo, Sasheer Zamata, Orny Adams and more will join host, Howie Mandel on Saturday, July 29 at 6:30 PM, PDA.

Our last Gala host this year is Lilly Singh!

Canadian comedian, entertainer and YouTube sensation Lilly Singh (aka IISuperwomanII to her 11 million subscribers worldwide) first broke out into the comedy ether via her inspirational YouTube videos. Now she has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, in feature films like Bad Moms, collaborated with big names such as Seth Rogen, Selena Gomez, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Priyanka Chopra, and has written a New York Times Best Selling Book, entitled How to be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life.  This Forbes 30 under 30 nominee is not only a successful entrepreneur, but she is a comedic force to be reckoned with. New Solo Shows Added to the Jack Astor’s Solo Series:


Tim Meadows

Comedian and actor Tim Meadows boasts one of the longest runs in Saturday Night Live history. The characters he crafted during his 10 years on the show were nothing short of legendary – including the beloved Ladies’ Man Leon Phelps. You've also seen him on the silver screen (he played the Principal in Mean Girls, among his many others hit comedy credits). Don’t miss the chance to see his show on Wednesday, July 26 at 9:30 PM at L’Astral.


Vir Das

After selling out three shows as part of OFF-JFL, Vir Das has been upgraded to a bigger stage and larger venue with a new show! This year, Vir Das’ Netflix special Abroad Understanding was unleashed on the world, bringing his unique comedic perspective to the world. At least, the part of the world that doesn’t already know him as the Bollywood heavyweight who rose to stardom in movies like BadMaash CompanyDelhi Belly, and Revolver Rani. By popular demand, we’ve moved his show to L’Astral on Thursday, July 27 at 7:00 PM.


Chris Fleming: SHOWPIG

Best known for his portrayal of suburban alpha mom Gayle Waters-Waters in his hit web series GAYLE, Chris Fleming is a comedian who has been written about in Forbes, LA Weekly, Huffington Post, Cosmopolitan, and the New Yorker. He currently has over 20 million views on his YouTube channel. He is currently on tour with his new standup show, SHOWPIG coming to Montreal on Thursday, July 27 at 9:30 PM at Maison Theatre.

Comedy superstar Jim Norton is so excited to be coming to Montreal, he’s bringing a brand-new hour of his refreshingly unapologetic stand-up with him! Following up on Mouthful of Shame (streaming on Netflix), Jim Norton’s new show Far from Delightful is Jim’s brand spanking new hour of stand-up hotness delivered straight from the man himself. A new night has been added on Thursday, July 27 at 9:30 PM at Gesù Theatre.
